We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking steps to ensure the safety of our guests and associates. We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) statements regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are following guidance from these agencies and local health authorities. Our hotels’ health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene to cleaning product specifications for the guest room and common area cleaning procedures.

The following are cleanliness standards in place at the Hotel Chicago West Loop, to ensure the wellbeing and peace of mind for all guests.

Guest Protection

  • Acrylic shields have been installed across the front desk to protect guests and associates
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers for guest use available at check-in
  • Guests will swipe their own credit cards and the card readers will be wiped down between each guest.

Housekeeping Services

  • Housekeeping associates wear personal protective equipment
  • Housekeeping services mid-stay have been suspended. Should guests need anything during their stay fresh linens and towels will be delivered to their room.
  • All indoor areas including entrances, corridors, staircases, elevators, and lobby are cleaned and mopped daily.


  • All associated will wear face masks based on CDC guidance
  • Social Distancing will be followed
  • Employees not feeling well are required to stay home

Guest Amenity Areas

  • Social Distancing recommendations will be followed in all guest and associate areas,
  • we will be limiting the number of guests to access each area at a time.
